He was born on December 22, 1966 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. His parents are Sandra Rawlinson and step dad Tony Rawlinson of Huntington Texas and the late Jesse Lee Corbin of Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Everman High School in Everman, Texas. He went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Auto Mechanics, and a Master’s in Auto Technology. He was an avid fisherman and loved teaching his children and grandchildren the sport of fishing. He loved fast cars and followed racing since he was a teenager. He loved taking his side by side mudding when he got a chance.
He is survived by his wife, Tabatha Corbin of Benbrook Texas; daughters, Lynlee Corbin and Kaylin Corbin and son-in-law, Jon Archer all of Benbrook Texas; four grandsons and 1 granddaughter; his mother, Sandra Rawlinson; step father, Tony Rawlinson; brothers, William Shane Corbin of Burleson, Texas, Scott Corbin and wife, Kathy Corbin of Sarasota Florida; sister, Brandi Stull and husband, Sam Stull of Spring, Texas; step brother, Jason Rawlinson; and step sister, Tracy Christian both of Huntington, Texas.
Steve was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer in 2014. After Ivin-Lewis Surgery, Chemo and Radiation it advanced to Stage 4 in 2018. He fought hard and like a true warrior. He never gave up hope or living life with his family to the fullest. His body gave out early Sunday morning August 21th, but he never gave up hope.
