Stacy was born on December 3, 1952, in Vernon, Texas to Brad Neel Jr and Helen Crownover. Her early years were spent in Abernathy and Lubbock Texas. She was baptized in July of 1962 at Calvary Baptist Church in Lubbock Texas.
She was the only girl of 4 children and the second oldest. Her family moved to Euless Texas in early 1968. For those that knew her, she was the sweetest person you'd ever meet. Beautiful on the exterior, but more so in her spirit, personality and heart.
Stacy attended Trinity High School where she met the love of her life Ron Tipton, and they spent the next 54 wonderful years of their life together. All Stacy ever wanted in life was peace and now she has that for eternity.
Stacy loved children, and children loved Stacy. She had a special gift and children were drawn to her. She worked at a Church and Children's Courtyard for over 10 years. Working with three-year old children
were her favorite. The greatest joy of her life was being a mother to her two sons Ty and Todd. She was so proud of them both and was showered with their love. She recently enjoyed celebrating the 5O year anniversary of Tipton Insurance, the business she helped build. The last few years she has enjoyed reminding Ron that he was the luckiest man in the world which is factual. Stacy loved family her whole life and always put others first. After a recent illness and recovery approximately two years ago, she and Ron made their last two of many trips. Galveston where they went on their honeymoon and this last trip, she saw the water turn blue, then Branson again to see Jesus at the Sight and Sound Theatre.
We pray that our special fond memories of her sustain us until we see her again. Stacy is preceded in death by her mother, father, and youngest brother Greg Neel. Survivors are husband Ron Tipton, sons Ty and Todd Tipton, daughter in law Shirdyn Toe and grandson Zaiden. Her brothers Rocky Neel and wife Sherry of Fort Worth, and Ronnie Neel and wife Sally of Burleson. Sister in-law, Deb McMurtre and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
