Shirley Kay Williams Brown was born October 1, 1957 to the union of Chester Williams and Ruth Aldridge Williams, in Blytheville Arkansas. She was the 4th of 6 children. She confessed her love for Christ at an early age. Knowing Shirley Kay is knowing strength, Faith, and Love. Her passions were speaking of the goodness of Jesus, singing his praises with her family, and showing love to EVERYONE’S children. She never met a stranger because she shared the joy of the Lord with everyone that crossed her path. Her love for children went much further than her children, she volunteered at Harrison Head start and if anyone needed help caring for their children they could count on Shirl. She was always available.
She departed this life on Friday October 21, surrounded by her family singing, praying, and worshiping God.
She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Chester and Ruth Williams; and her son, Anquan Vonzell Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories 3 children, Vanessa Williams-Jackson (BJ Jackson) Las Vegas, NV, Demetrius Williams-Hamilton (Andrew Hamilton), and Latesha Williams both of Fort Worth Texas; 5 bonus-children, Shannon, J.W. Michael and Toshia Brown of Blytheville Arkansas, and Melissa Brown of Las Angeles California; 2 sisters, Mary Lavender (Joe Lavender) of Blytheville and Ann Mosby (Jessie Mosby) of Fort Worth Texas; 3 brothers, Stanley Williams (Bethina Williams) of Atlanta GA; Thomas Williams (Mary Williams) and Walter Falls (Glenda Falls) of Fort Worth, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
