Scott Robinson, 44 years old of Fort Worth, Texas, son of Jimmy Joe Robinson and Peggy Sue (Thomas) Lafon, left this world on Saturday, November 16, to be with his Heavenly father and loved ones who had gone on before him. Scott had a loyal and generous nature and a tender soul.
Scott was born on his maternal grandparents wedding anniversary, February 15, 1975. Scott attended Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas.
In his early working years, Scott worked at various movie theaters and progressed through different positions due to his dedicated hard work. The last 15 years, Scott has worked in the printing industry. His Dad brought him into the business and they worked side by side together at Padgett Printing in Dallas for several years. For the last 8 years, Scott has been an employee of 4Over Printing Company in Arlington, Texas.
Scott took an interest in guitars several years ago and taught himself to play. He was shy about playing for others but enjoyed playing for his own pleasure. Scott loved the Dallas Cowboys, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and all things Star Wars. There was a standing order not to disturb him on Wednesday nights during Survivor. He had a hobby of following estate sales and purchasing and repurposing electronics.
Scott enjoyed attending Wedgwood Baptist Church with his mother and he was a believer in Christ.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Joe Robinson of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Lake City, Arkansas, his maternal grandparents, John and Bernice Thomas of Lake City, Arkansas and his paternal grandparents, Bill and Freida Robinson of Lunsford, Arkansas. Scott is survived by his mother and stepfather, Roy and Peggy Lafon of Fort Worth, Texas, his sister Julie and her husband, Michael Withaeger and his two nephews, Kent and Matthew Withaeger, all of Weatherford, Texas. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Memorial service will be at 10 am on Tuesday, November 26 at the Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes in the Laurel Land Memorial Park at 7100 Crowley Rd. in Fort Worth, Texas. A reception will be held immediately following in the fellowship room in the main building.
