FORT WORTH -- Ruth Spencer, 85, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at her residence.
Service: Life celebration will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 1000 Stella St., Dr. Mark Morris, pastor, officiating. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and 7 to 8 p.m. at the church.
Survivors: Left with fond memories, her children, Barbara Davis (Odis), Cathy Burrell (Edwin); brothers, Roger Jones (Eloise), James Jones (Earlene); sisters, June Gipson, Marie Sherfield (Earl); eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
