Rose Marie Fondon

Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home, with a rosary starting at 5:30.

Memorials: May be made in her name to American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.

Rose was born on November 1, 1933, in Edna, Texas, to Alfred and Lena DeVille Gabrysch. In 1953, she married Charles Fondon. She loved her family and watching her grandchildren play sports. She enjoyed the simplicities of life like driving around looking at flowers and travelling. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Indy car racing, cooking and baking. She was a hard working woman throughout her career and was a member of Saint Peter's Catholic Church.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her son, Allen Fondon.

Survivors: Son, Eddie Fondon and wife, Belinda; daughter, Donna Bosworth and husband, Dwight; son, Kenneth Fondon; grandson, Josh Fondon and wife, Amber; grandson, Ben Fondon and wife, Kristen; grandson, Brad Bosworth; granddaughter; Amber Bosworth; sisters, Mary Hasdoff, Geri Etlinger, Patsy Juroska and Judy Babbitt; brothers, Wayne Gabrysch and Phil Gabrysch; and many other loving family members and friends.
