FORT WORTH -- Ronald E. Johnson Sr., 69, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Next Step Women's Center, 250 NW Tarrant Ave., Ste. J, Burleson, in memory of Ronnie Johnson. Ronnie was born March 23, 1947, in Fort Worth to George and Gladys Johnson. Ronnie graduated from Poly Technical High School and attended UTA for two years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a wonderful friend. He was described by a close friend of his son's as "a man with hands of steel and a heart of gold." His caring and joyful spirit will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy. Survivors: Wife, Linda; son, Ronald Johnson Jr. and wife, RaShaunda; stepdaughters, Stacey McKee and husband, Paul, Channy Price and husband, Steve, Tina Hodnett and husband, Jason; grandchildren, Jacie Johnson, Breanna and Kaylie Smith, Lance and Brittany Terry, Zachary and Allison Hodnett; brothers, Fred and wife, Jan, Bill and wife, Debra; sister, Linda Joyce Deason and husband, Don; and many nieces and nephews.
