Ronnie was born on May 9, 1946 to Milton H. and Virginia D. Brown and grew up in Fort Worth and Haltom City.
Ronnie married Pat Revell on October 9, 1971. They were married for over 50 years and had two children, Amy and Ron Jr.
Ronnie worked for Union Pacific Railroad and retired after 30 years. His job with the railroad required frequent relocation, and they lived all over Texas, and then in Louisiana and Utah for a short time before returning to Texas in 1994 and settling in Burleson.
Ronnie was a classic car enthusiast and loved taking his ‘57 Chevy to car shows with the Mad Dog Car Club. Ronnie had many hobbies over the years and enjoyed water skiing, boating, hiking, camping, car racing, motorcycles and cycling. He even had a pilot’s license and owned an airplane in the ‘80’s. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Pat; daughter Amy Bledsoe and husband Brett Bledsoe of Alvarado; son Ron Brown and wife Kristen of McKinney; brother Ricky Brown and wife Sherry of Burleson; grandchildren Stella, Raiden and Evelyn Brown and Mazzy and Jack Bledsoe; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Dennis Barton.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 27 at 12:00 followed by a graveside service at 2:00 at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 7100 Crowley Road in Fort Worth, Texas.
