Ronald Wayne Brookshire

Ronald W. Brookshire, 80, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2019. Ron was born on October 8, 1938 in Olney, Texas. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1962. He was a great husband, father, brother, and grandfather and loved his family. He lived for his favorite hobby, pool; and was a good friend to many. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn (“Evie”); daughter, Rhonda Brookshire; and brother, Eddie Brookshire. He is survived by son, Anthony, and wife, Deana Brookshire; daughter, Dee Dee, and husband Rick Flynt; brother, Jeffry, and wife Morea Brookshire; sister-in-law Edye Brookshire; and grandchildren, Kyle, Koryn, Kayla, Mackenzie, Kendall, Abby, and Raegan; and great grandson, Kayden.

Visitation: Sunday, January 13, 2019 1pm to 3pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: Monday at 3pm in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
