Robert was born May 14 1945 in Fort Worth Texas to Evalyn and Robert G. Moore Sr. He served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1982 where he served two terms in Vietnam and received a Bronze Medal for his heroism.
Robert served two tours in Germany which he really loved, and continued to have a passion for collecting anything WWII related.
After retiring from the army, Robert served as a police officer for over 30 years of which he was a patrol office, Sargent, and Chief of Police for Crowley for 8 years.
Robert was predeceased by his mother, Evalyn Malone, Father, Robert Glen Moore Sr., brother Mark Moore, nephew Brent Moore and Aunt Kanova.
He is survived by his loving companion, Poncho, his wife of over 20 years, Anita, brother John Moore, wife Linda, Son Glen Moore, wife Lisa, daughter Ruth Rye, Husband David, son, Terry Moore, wife Megan, Stepchildren Stacy Babella, Wesley Beard, wife Brittany, Ryan Beard, wife Brianna, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Robert was such an inspiration to all those who met him and we would like to thank Healing Hands nurses for being there for our family these last few years.
He was a truly loving husband, father and grandfather and animal lover and he will live forever in our hearts.
