Robert Ray Massey, 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July, 31, 2016 after a brief illness. Service: 11 am Friday at Laurel Land Chapel of the Chimes. Visitation is from 6-8 pm Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Robert (Bob) Massey was born on March 30, 1945 to R.A. and Catherine Massey in Fort Worth. Bob loved to fish and hunt and he cherished his many trips with his nephew, Brent Lough and his dear friend Tim Martin. Bob was an avid golfer. He grew up playing at Meadowbrook Golf Course and Glen Garden Country Club where he was a member until the establishment closed in 2014. Bob always had a story to tell about his fishing and hunting trips or what he used on each hole and the final score. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and parents-in-law, Don and Betty Gault. Bob has left behind his memory with his loving wife, Sharon; step son, Johnny Baker and wife April; beloved granddaughters, Heather and Lilly Baker; many close relatives and friends
