Robert "Darrell" Graves

Darrell was born August 20, 1964 in Springfield, Illinois, to Robert and Linda Graves. Darrell was a graduate of Frank W. Springstead High School in Spring Hill, Florida.

Darrell had a strong passion for working with seniors and has worked in a senior living community for the last several years. He especially had a heart for individuals suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's.

Darrell was a Florida native who moved to Texas to be closer to his children. He had a love for beaches, warm weather, gardening and working in his shop. Darrel met and married his life-long love Rick Lee in 2011. Darrell enjoyed traveling and his friends and family. He was always there for anyone. Regardless of the issue or time of the day, he loved and cared for all of his friends and neighbors as family.

Darrell is survived by his husband, Rick Lee of Godley, Texas; son, Brad Graves of Denton, Texas; daughter, Brittany Weese of Kalispell, Montana; his parents, Bob and Linda Graves of Spring Hill, Florida; sister, Angela Boise of Spring Hill, Florida; step-sons, Taylor Lee, Tyler Lee, and Trey Lee of Hurst, Texas. Darrell and Rick have eight beautiful grandchildren and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. He also is survived by his precious fur baby, CoCo, his four year old Maltese.

Rick would like to give a special thanks to family for all of their support and for the support of their neighbors in Canyon Ridge, where the couple recently built their home.
