Robert Eugene Dawson JR., known by some as Bob, passed away on June 28,2024 surrounded by his family . He was born on February 20, 1955, to Dorothy and Robert Dawson SR. Robert was a long resident of Azle Texas.
Robert was a graduate of Southwest High School, class of 1974, and went on to enlist in the US Army serving till 1980 when He then pursue his education Tarrant County College while working as an Airframe Mechanic at Lockheed Martin, earning his degree in 1985. Robert dedicated 45 years to his career as an Airframe mechanic.
Robert had a passion for motorcycles, Jeeps and Ford Mustangs. He was a Gun enthusiast. He spent many years as a cowboy action shooter known as Red Constance. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the family property on the Brazos River. Robert enjoyed riding Harleys with his 2 children James and Cynthia.
Robert was predeceased in death by his parents Robert Dawson SR, Dorothy Ragland, his brothers Clint, Greg and sister Kim. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family: son James Dawson and wife Stephanie and daughter Cynthia Dawson and wife Julie, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his sister’s Sara and Abbe along with many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held on July 8, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Laurel Land Memorial Park located at 7100 Crowley Rd. Fort Worth Texas. Following the service, Robert will be laid to rest at Laurel Land Memorial park.
