Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Interment: 12:30 p.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The Family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Robert was born Sept. 25, 1935, in Fort Worth to William Sumner Caldwell and Gertrude Taylor Caldwell.
He worked for General Motors in Arlington for 35 years and retired in 1997. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed camping, traveling in an RV and photography. For many years, he took pictures of Little League soccer and baseball games. He loved genealogy research.
Survivors: Wife, Elaine Caldwell; daughter, Debbie Fine and son-in-law, Mark Fine; grandson, Corey Fine; sister, Judy Bachman; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
