Rita Sue Ruby passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
Sue was born June 27, 1940 in Fort Worth to Robert and Louise Sprowls. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1958. She attended TCU, Texas Tech and graduated from what is now known as Texas Weslayan University. She taught fourth grade at Oakwood Terrace, kindergarten at Hurst Hills and was a librarian at Euless Junior High. She worked for HEB ISD for 32 years and was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church
Sue is survived by her husband, Emmitt Ruby; daughter, Lisa Loerwald and husband, Joe; granddaughter, Jacie Langham; grandson, Ryan Loerwald; sister, Linda Welborn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Ruby Family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel with interment immediately following at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.
