After graduating from Carl Schurz High School in Chicago in 1985, he was taken under his uncle's wing and taught how to paint cars at the local Cadillac dealership. That is where his love for Cadillac's began. 30 years later he took that knowledge and landed a job at Lockheed Martin painting the F35s.
In 2007, he met Marsha, and they were married on September 28, 2013.
Rich loved all Chicago sports teams except for one, anyone who knew him knows which one it is.
Let's not forget to mention his LOVE for Star Wars. He was the poster child for a Star Wars fanatic.
Richard was predeceased by his father, William Galarza.
He is survived by Marsha Galarza, wife, Crowley, TX; Tabatha Schein, daughter, Chicago, IL; Richard Galarza Jr, son, Hollywood, FL; Cesar Luna, son, Fort Worth, TX; Eric Luna, son, Crowley, TX; Natalie Luna, daughter Crowley, TX; and his 5 grandchildren, Justin, Janessa, Noah, Briana, and David.
