I worked with Red many years ago and still have many fond memories. He was an interesting character who always seemed to have something funny to say to you. The last time I saw him, he was talking about heading to Pittsburgh to start a business cleaning up Airstream trailers. I am saddened to see that he passed away and it taking me so long to read of his passing. Rest in Peace Red. You were a good friend.

Happy Heavenly Birthday Sweet Red!!  You were on my mind all day on the 3rd.  I know you are having a glorious time up there and now Mary Elizabeth is there with you as well... I love you and miss you so much but I will see you soon!!

Red was my neighbor and my friend for 16 years.  It will feel somewhat wrong not to have Red around or where I can visit him.  RIP Red. 

We had many good visits with Red when we went to the lake.  He always said something to make me laugh.  He kept an eye on our place and called if something wasn’t right.  “I almost shot your contractor today - thought he was a burglar!” was one call - thank God everything turned out OK!  He was quick to loan a ladder here, chainsaw there whenever we needed something so I remember his kindness.  He used to say he was “just struggling along”.  It’s a blessing to know his struggles are over and I’ll see him again some day in Heaven.

I have so many wonderful memories with Red!  However, my most favorite would have to be when I was with him in his room and he asked Jesus Christ to forgive him and save him.  The tears rolled down his face as he asked.  I loved this man with every fiber of my being and on Tuesday night,  August 31 st, I dreamt that he passed away.  I was told the next day that he had indeed passed on Tuesday night.  I miss him terribly and am unable to attend his service but I know for a fact that he and I will get to stroll across Heaven together one day as we once talked about!!  I love you Red and I WILL see you on the other side real soon ❤
