Pete was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Leonard to Ivory and Avis Sinclair Evans. He was a longtime resident of Fort Worth. Pete and his wife, Marye, loved to travel. In their later years, they spent months of every year traveling to new places to take in the scenery and meet new people. Pete was a generous man and had the opportunity to donate to several organizations that he held dear to his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four siblings; and his wife of 57 years, Marye Evans. Survivors: Daughter, Gaylynn "Sam" and husband, Paul Park; niece, Whitney and husband, Nick Inman, and their son, Rex; and many dear friends.
