GySgt Ralph T. Smith Jr 20 Nov 1930 - 3 Dec 2016 Ralph passed at home quietly and peacefully wrapped in the arms of family on Saturday, December 3rd. Ralph was a 28 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He served multiple tours in combat in Korea and Vietnam. He was beloved by his family, friends and neighbors. He was predeceased by his father Ralph Smith Sr. and his mother, Madeline Chadwick. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty eight years, Lavada Sue Smith. He is also survived by his sister Betty Ballew and her family, his brother Victor Smith and his family, his loving children Mike Smith, Michael Beagle, Kristi Moore, Michelle Davis , Mark Smith and their families , including grand children Kristy, Matthew, Hunter, Cheyenne and Paige. Memorial services will be held at Laurel Land funeral home in Crowley on Thursday, December 8th at 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at The Veterans Memorial Cemetery on a date to be announced.
