Peggy Laverne Tullos

Peggy was born on July 15, 1932 to E.E. (Jim) and Bess Hollingsworth in Ellis County, TX. Peggy graduated from Blooming Grove High School in 1950. Later that year, on December 31, she married the love of her life, Max Tullos. Peggy and Max started a family a couple of years later and had 2 daughters, Terri Tullos Kincaid and Cheryl Tullos.

Peggy loved being a stay-at-home mom and serving her family. She deeply loved her family. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and had an amazing, generous and giving heart. She had several hobbies, but her favorites were sewing, playing cards, and hanging out at the lake with family and close friends. Peggy also served as a Sunday School teacher for many years at South Hills Baptist Church.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents E.E. (Jim) and Bess Hollingsworth, brothers, Bertran (Sonny) and Edward Lee, daughters Terri Tullos Kincaid and Cheryl Tullos. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Max Tullos, son-in-law, Mel Kincaid, grandson and wife, Corey and Jill Barfield, grandson, Brett Barfield, granddaughter, Ashley Little, great grandchildren, Jaden, Caleb, Chloe Barfield and Naomi Little as well as her extended family.

A Memorial service will be held at South Hills Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to South Hills Baptist Church in her honor.
