Peggy Sue Taylor went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 22, 2012. Peggy was born March 6, 1936 in Three Rivers, Texas. She married Leo Taylor August 2, 1957. During her life she was a kindergarten teacher at Irving Christian Academy, financial secretary at Crestview Baptist Church, a librarian in Newark, Texas and her greatest accomplishment was devoted wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Leo Taylor; her mother and father, Evelyn and Perry Lewis and her brother, Perry Lewis.
Peggy is survived by her daughters, Patricia Pitts and Leslie Hipp; 4 grandchildren, Ronnie and Matthew Pitts, Miranda and Spencer Hipp; 7 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Rance, Reese, Madison, Abigal, Kyle, Clayson, Avery and many nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her brothers, Dan Lewis of Artisia, NM and Pat Lewis of Van, TX. After her Lord she loved her family.
