Preceded in death by parents Mr.& Mrs. Robert Bond and sister Karen.
Paul was quick-witted, cheerful and much loved. He was respected by his friends and colleagues. He graduated from South Garland High School then attended Texas A & M University, where he played the tuba in the Corps of Cadets Band. He graduated from East Texas State with a major in Computer Science.
He worked at Recognition Equipment, Texas Instruments, Zales Corp and retired from Neiman Marcus in 2009. His hobbies included online gaming, reading, and subjecting friends and family to terrible puns.
He was a beloved husband. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Goodwin Bond; stepson, Gordon Harwell and wife Reagan; their sons, Peter and Thomas; mother-in -law, Eleanor Goodwin; brother-in-law, James Goodwin and wife Karen; and scores of cousins and friends.
