Patrick Joesph "P.J." Flaherty

P.J. was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Morgan and Margaret Curran Flaherty on Jan. 13, 1964. P.J. excelled in sports and actually played on the Elite Morningside Bulldogs football team in his teenage years. In 1987 he moved to Tulsa, Okla., to work as an airplane mechanic with American Airlines. In 1992 he transferred to Alliance Airport and eventually to DFW Airport. He spent almost 27 years working for American Airlines where he met numerous beautiful and wonderful friends who treated him and his family like gold. P.J. never met a stranger and made the world a better place with his sense of humor and love of all people. P.J. was a beloved husband, loving father, and cherished brother.

The family cannot express their gratitude for the love and prayers that family and friends have showered upon them.

Survivors: Wife, Patricia Ann Flaherty; children: Shannon and Ryan; siblings: Kathleen Flaherty, John Flaherty (Irma), Morgan Flaherty (Donna), Pegge Milne (Chris), Eileen Flaherty, Michael Flaherty (Lorri), Kerry Seman (John); and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
