Mr. Norman Green

He graduated from Paschal High School in 1951, and in 1955 he married Barbara Cates. They started their family in 1956 and in 1963 had the last of their five boys and the closely-knit family he had longed to have. After Barbara's death in 1999, he met his second love, Ann Patrick.

A devout Christian, Norm was an active member of Westcliff UMC and later at Genesis UMC. Lovingly called Pagi by his grand-children, he enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and card games. However, his greatest joy was spending time with family members, especially at Christmas. He decorated every room in his house lavishly and hosted 50-60 friends and relatives each year.

Norm was preceded in death by his wife, Barabara; son Grif; and sister Beth Johnson. He is survived by his sons: Gary and wife Lecia; Greg and wife Sheila; Glen and wife Jessica; and Geff; sister Marcyle Woodard; companion, Ann Patrick; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He dearly loved the Cates extended family, as well as Ann's daughter Pamela Wurschmidt, and family in Norway.

A Celebration of Norm's life will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Laurel Land Funeral Home Chapel, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134. His family will receive friends at the funeral home, 1 hour prior to the service.
