Nancy Havis Vaughan of Seymour, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the age of 80. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 18, 1937. She graduated from Polytechnic High school in Forth Worth, Texas. Nancy married Robert Vaughan on November 27, 1963 in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked for Bell Helicopter for 40 years and retired in 2006. Nancy loved traveling, , and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Vaughan, brother Don E. Havis, and son-in-law David Vaughan. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn; brother James E. Havis and wife Jeanie Havis; daughters Paula Martin and husband Drew Martin, Julie Jerrolds and husband Daniel Jerrolds; her grandchildren, Megan Joblin, Colton Vaughan, Jesse Vaughan, and Emma Jerrolds; and a great grandchild, Elijah Todd. Visitation will be held on September 9, 2017 at 8:30 am at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134 with funeral services to begin directly after at 10 am. Entombment will follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park Mausoleum.
