Service: 10:15 a.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel.
Myra was born March 6, 1949, in Bonham to Aaron Moss and Ethel Hastings Moss. She attended college in East Texas as a communications major. She worked for J.C. Penney for 18 years as a merchandising associate. Her interests were genealogy, sewing and above all, spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Husband, Jimmy Piland; son, Scotty Piland and wife, Angie; grandchildren, Gabriel Piland and Alyssa Piland.
