Meredith Lynn Jones

Meredith was born August 27, 1961 to parents Melvin Leroy Castleberry and Josie Pearl Boiles Castleberry. At a young age she showed herself to be a caretaker to her two younger brothers Michael Leroy Castleberry and Joe Douglas Castleberry. She found a career caring for children of all ages, finally finding herself taking care of infants at Terrell High School in a program for young mothers attending high school, called Project Hope. Meredith thoroughly enjoyed taking care of children and did so for most of her adult life. Meredith struggled with the loss of her Father, Leroy, in 2003 and the loss of her Husband, Richard, in 2019.

She is survived by her (Mother) Josie Pearl Boiles Castleberry, her (Brother and Wife) Michael Leroy Castleberry and Mindy Sue Castleberry, (Brother and Wife) Joe Douglas Castleberry and Tamera Rene Castleberry and their children Shaylea and Colby, her two children (Son and Wife) David Michael Jones and Nicole Marie Isabelli, (Daughter and Husband) Christina Elaine Jones and Bruce Timothy Johnson Sr., as well as her two grandchildren (Grandson) Bruce Timothy Johnson Jr. and (Granddaughter) Avery Elaine Johnson, all of whom she loved dearly and unconditionally. She is also survived by (Friend) John Short whom she found companionship.

A celebration of life for Meredith will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas.
