Mauro Cunanan Ganzon Jr.

Dr. Mauro Cunanan Ganzon, Jr, 86, of Fort Worth,Texas, formerly of Las Vegas, NV, passed away July 7, 2021, in Fort Worth. He was born November 30, 1934 in Abucay, Bataan, in the Philippines to Mauro Baluyot Ganzon and Pilar Cunanan Ganzon.

Dr. Ganzon attended Far Eastern University in the Philippines for both his undergraduate degree and medical degree. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in Altoona, PA, and completed residency for general surgery in Fall River, MA.

Dr. Ganzon was a beloved family physician in Las Vegas, NV, and previously in Denver City, TX, as well as Fort Worth/Azle, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Dr. Ganzon is survived by his cherished wife of 60 years, Apolonia; daughter, Mary Ganzon, and daughter-in-law, Pui Ming Lee, of Gabriola Island, BC; daughter, Rachel Ganzon, and son-in-law, Kenny Kaiser, of Portland, OR; son, Mauro Ganzon, and daughter-in-law, Joyce Ganzon, of Fort Worth, TX; son Andrew Ganzon of FL; grandchildren, Benjamin, Maximilian, Augustin, and Callistus of Muenster, TX – and Nicolas and Sarah of FL; sisters, Juanita Ganzon Ignacio of Mamburao, Mindoro, Philippines, and Isabel Ganzon Garcia and brother-in-law Felixberto Garcia of Orlando, FL; and countless other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
