Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Mary was born Jan. 31, 1924, in Fort Worth to Edwin Lewis Rose Sr. and Mary Adelia Brown. After graduating from Paschal High School, Mary worked for the Fort Worth and Denver Railway. She married the love of her life, Bill, on Dec. 25, 1944, at Evans Avenue Baptist Church.
Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she enjoyed cooking, entertaining, sewing, quilting, and traveling with her husband. She was a member of the Opti-Mrs. Club of Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Garden Club, and she attended Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
The family extends its thanks to the special caregivers at Vitas Hospice Care for their loving care and spiritual comfort.
Survivors: She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bill; daughter, Claudia Robertson and husband, Clay Goodman, of Houston; son, Mitchell Robertson and wife, Jackie, of Aledo; daughter, Becky Martin and husband, Jimmy, of Fort Worth; daughter, DeDe Hutson and husband, Marty, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Kimberly Rogers and husband, Josh, Laura Robertson, and Kerry Mullinix and husband, Bryce; and great-grandchildren, Reed Rogers, Carlee Rogers, Koy Mullinix and Maxton Mullinix.
