Mary Powell, 89, of Highland Village, Texas passed away on March 7, 2015. Born in Houston, Texas on August 3, 1925, Mary graduated from Rice University. She married Nelson Powell on December 25, 1947. Mary established a career in accounting, working for both the Fort Worth Club and Loma Plastics. She was passionate about her family. She is survived by her daughter Patty and her husband, John; her son Michael and his wife, Michelle; her great grandson, Caleb Tripp; Roy Powell ; nieces Dinah Powell, Heidi Cope, and Melinda Lee.
Her funeral service will be held at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel on March 11, 2015 at 2p.m.
