FORT WORTH -- Mary Lou Sanchez, 86, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. to service time Monday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth.
Mary was born in Cotulla on June 2, 1929. Mary spent her life devoted to her family and Lord. She joined Teaching Word Faith Center in 1984. She loved and served God all her life. Mary was a beautiful, loving and caring mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Jose; and daughter, Sandra.
Survivors: Mary is survived by her sons, Moses and Mary Cortez, Robert and Carolyn Cortez, Steve and Pat Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez; daughters, Juanita and Armando Gutierrez and Rachel Sanchez; 25 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. .
