Mary Charles Head

Charlie was born June 14, 1931 and passed away on June 3, 2021. Just 13-days shy of her 90th Birthday.

She was born in Fall Creek Texas to Oscar and Mary Henslee. She was number 7 of 17 Children. She married Ralph Head on October 11, 1970. They lived in Burleson for 14-years before moving back to her Hometown of Granbury. She loved living on the Lake and being able to fish, entertain her family and friends and cooking for them.

Charlies greatest joys in life were, Fishing, Family, Cooking, Traveling, Gardening and Gambling. She and Butch went on many trips and adventures with her son, Mike. Her Great Grandbabies brought her so much Love and Joy, they always put a big smile on her face.

She worked many jobs to support her Boys before getting hired on at Tracar Electronics. She then went to work at General Dynamics and Retired from There in January 1994.

She was preceded in Death by her Parents. Her infant daughter, Brenda Gray. Six Brothers and Six Sisters and Her Husband, Ralph “Butch” Head in November 2019.

She is Survived by her Sons - Tibby Gray and his Wife, Lynda of Crowley. Mike Gray of Hawkins, TX. Her Grandchildren - Joshua Gray and his wife, Bronwyn of Acton. Amy Gray Hughes and her Husband Howard of Cleburne. Her Great Grandchildren - Cooper and Carter Gray of Acton. Tibby Magnolia, Huxton and Baby Hatcher Hughes due in August of Cleburne.

Her Sister - Sheila Parker of Paluxy. Her Brothers - Henry Henslee of El Campo, Willard Henslee of Granbury and Ricky Henslee of Weatherford. Her Special Niece and Care Taker - Rhonda Dale of Granbury.
