Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday in Garrett Chapel of Rosen Heights Baptist Church, 2524 Roosevelt Ave., Fort Worth. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: none scheduled.

Liz was born in Fort Worth on Dec. 28, 1917, to William E. and Sadie Elmore. She grew upon the north side of Fort Worth and was so very proud of that! She graduated from North Side High School and married Edison Toal in 1937. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, known as "Gammy" to all the grandkids. She was a lifelong member of Rosen Heights Baptist Church and a 78-year member of the Good Cheer Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edison Toal and Sam G. Duncan.

Much love and thanks go to the wonderful employees of Hearthstone Bedford Assisted Living for their love and care of our mother.

Survivors: Daughters, Sharon Toal Meshew of Bedford and Peggy Hinman and husband, Bob, of Austin; son, George Toal and wife, Becca, of Littleton, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and quite a few great-grandchildren.
