Mary Jo Corbett

Mary Jo was born June 6, 1932 to Ennis and Lyda Davie in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1950. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Education at North Texas State. She met Pat Corbett while attending NTS. They were married for 62 years. Mary Jo was a devoted military wife, mother, and grandmother.

She taught at Carter Riverside High School for 18 years and retired in 1993. She volunteered at the Fort Worth Science & History Museum; as well as, other civic organizations. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Benbrook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat; sisters, Pat Oliphant and her husband, Robert; Lois Cunningham; and sister in law, Jo Ann Davie.

Mary Jo is survived by her sons, Dave and Jim; grandchildren, Lon, Sean, Matt and Katie; brother, Roland Davie; and numerous nieces; nephews; and friends.
