Martha graduated from Paschal High School in 1956. She was the matriarch of the family, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church for over 70 years serving through various ministries such as Women’s Missionary Union, Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, Quilting Circle, Praise Singers, serving others. Martha was a true servant for God.
Robert and Martha met, married, and raised their children at Travis Avenue Baptist Church. Enjoyed traveling coast to coast and border to border in the U.S.
Martha is preceded in death by her mother, Eddie Elizabeth Lowe and her father, Aubry Jay Lowe.
Survivors: Husband, Robert Lee Rippetoe, Jr.; sister, Shirley Powell; children, Stephanie Newberry, Andrea Jones, Kimberly Buchanan, and Christopher Rippetoe; grandchildren, Michael Padron, Elizabeth Harris, Dionne Newberry, Allie Jones, Emily Newberry, Trinity Buchanan, Eden Buchanan, Grant Rippetoe, and Harrison Rippetoe; great-grandchildren, Carol Harris, David Harris, Zane Padron, Max Padron, and Kelsi Padron; extended family, son-in-law, Brant Newberry; daughter-in-law, Mae Rippetoe; grand son-in-law, Chris Harris; grand daughter-in-law, Janine Padron; niece, Laurie Powell and Angela Bishop; and nephew, Spencer Bishop.
A visitation for Martha will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth(Chapel of Chimes) 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A funeral service to follow at 2:00pm, A committal will occur Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Laurel Land memorial Park following services.
