Marion "Bunny" McDonald Shaw, Jr. was born to the parentage of Marion McDonald Shaw, Sr. and Ruby Lee Echols-Shaw July 2, 1948, in Mexia, Texas.Bunny, as he was affectionately known, professed a hope in Christ at an early age, and declared that Jesus the King of Kings and Lord of Lords was his personal Savior. At the age of 6, Bunny move with his family to Fort Worth, where he attended school and matriculated from the historic I.M. Terrell High School, in 1967.After graduating from high school, in 1968 Bunny enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, and honorably served his country, being honorably discharged from his tour of duty in 1972. After his years of serving in the military, he was employed with the Petro-Chemical Company as a welder, and later worked for the Fort Worth ISD, as a master landscaper. He was also the proud owner of the M&M Lawn Care Service. Bunny was a devoted member of the Mount Hermon Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, and a member of the male chorus. He enjoyed lawn care/landscaping, watching sports, music, and quality time with family and friends. Bunny transitioned to the home of his Father in Heaven, on March 29, 2017.He was preceded in death by his proud parents, Marion M. Shaw, Sr. and Ruby Lee Echols-Shaw; a sister, Dorthia Davis; and a brother, Lawrence E. Shaw. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of: His loving and devoted daughters, Shauntrece M. Shaw, Kimberly J. Shaw, and Jennifer M. Shaw, former spouse, Gilda F. Woolridge; all of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Betty Shaw-James and husband Robert, Sheron Shaw-Ross and husband Parris, and Malissie L. Shaw; brother, Richard Echols and wife Valda, all of Fort Worth, TX; grandchild, Kendall J. Stewart; aunts, Alice Turner-Jackson and husband Van, and Mary Ella Echols; special friend, Donna Stewart; five nieces; three nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
