Marian was born January 10, 1942 in Litchfield, Nebraska, to Helmer and Rovilla Sinner. After graduating from Central High school in Cheyenne, Wyoming, she attended Barnes Business School in Denver, Colorado. By 1963 she was working for the IRS in Cheyenne where she met her future husband, Robert France.
Marian married Bob in September of 1964 in Cheyenne, their home for the next several years. They started their family with Erik in 1967, followed by Kimberly in 1970.
They moved to Fort Worth in 1974 where Marian began her career as a paralegal with the Corps of Engineers. Soon after her husband's death in 1997, she retired from the Corps of Engineers and started volunteering with the Widowed Persons Service. Marian loved to travel, visiting many European countries as well as Russia, China, and, most recently, South Africa.
Marian is survived by: son and daughter in law, Erik and Dynette France; daughter, Kimberly France; grandchildren: Taylor France, Robert France-Burton, Mariah Torres, Gabriel Torres; great grandchildren: Trenton Hill, Arianna Reyna, Dezi Torres; sister and brother in law, Karen and Ralph Palmer; sister and brother in law, Mona and Tom Wanser; brother, Ronald Sinner; many nieces, nephews and good friends.
