NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Margie Maxine Ramsey, 88, of North Richland Hills, Texas, was sweetly called home by her Heavenly Father on August 13, 2010. Funeral Service: 10 a.m., Tuesday at North Richland Hills Baptist Church 6955 Blvd. 26, North Richland Hills, 76180. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m., Monday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Maxine was born on May 12, 1922 in Woodson. Maxine had an active church life in both Richland Hills Baptist Church and North Richland Hills Baptist Church by overseeing the church nursery, volunteering at the church office, and supporting various missions including Cornerstone Missions. She was also a member of WMU, YWCA, and a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #1040 in Richland Hills. She was previously employed by Graham Magnetics and General Dynamics. Maxine was the matriarch of the family devoted to her husband, children, and their families. She displayed a sweet, tender spirit of boundless faith, compassionate love, with a humble appreciation for the blessings and love God bestowed upon her. She saw and loved others through Christ's eyes inspiring and encouraging them along their walk of faith. Preceding her in death was her father, Charley Maley, mother, Hattie Earle Maley, brothers, Charles Maley, Jr. and John Earl Maley, son, Dr. Jesse Ray Ramsey, and granddaughter, Alexis Ramsey. Her surviving family members include her husband of 67 years, Ray Franklin Ramsey, son and daughter-in-law, John and Tamara Ramsey, brother, Barton T. Maley, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren along with many other family members and friends.
