Margie Tibbs Prescott

Service: 2 pm Saturday at Laurel Land Funeral Home's Chapel of the Chimes in Fort Worth. Visitation is from 12-2 pm prior to the service on Saturday. Interment is at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.

Margie Tibbs Prescott (Branham) was born on June 14, 1927 to Daniel and Martha Tibbs in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She retired from Sears Service Center in Fort Worth after over 25 years of service as a router. Margie enjoyed being outside and all the joys that came with nature, feeding ducks at the lake, tending her flower gardens and being an amateur arborist.

She has joined her parents, the love of her life, Jim Prescott and six siblings in Heaven.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Jim Hancock and wife Roni, Margie Hathcock and husband Brownie, Joye Grizzle and husband Fred; grandchildren, Timothy Lee, Teresa, Jeff, Alyse, Adrienne, Sarah, Brian, Adam, Melissa; 15 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; sister, Muriel Bay; extended family and dear friends.
