Margaret Ann Feaster (Marge) was born on October 21, 1938, in Orono, Main to James Francis Case and Rose Marie Darling. She was the sixth of eight children to James and Rose. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Orono Catholic High School on June 16, 1957.
She passed from this earth peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 12:15 pm in her son, Mike’s arms at his home.
Marge joined the United States Air Force on March 17, 1958 in Orono Maine and after boot camp, was transferred to Carswell Airforce Base where she met and married Thomas Richard Feaster on December 16, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas. Marge was discharged from the Airforce on April 6, 1959, to raise her first child. She and Thomas welcomed their first child, Jim, on October 1, 1959 and later added to the family when Mike was born on June 10, 1962.
She re-enlisted in the Army Reserves in May of 1978 and retired September of 1997. While enlisted, she also worked for Champion Auto Parts and Pursey’s Upholstery Shop. She eventually went on to work for the Tarrant County Sherriff’s Department as a jailer.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and an easy laugh. While she may have been small in stature she was big in heart.
Marge wrote a letter to her son’s many years ago to be read after she passed. The letter encouraged them to remember the good times, always keep God in their heart’s and to look out for each other. She asked them to be happy, love one another and help each other when they could. She praised them for the love and help they gave her during her lifetime. Her final statement in the letter was “Don’t be sad, God’s been good to me. Just say a prayer that I luck out and get to see him!”
Marge was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rose Casey, brother’s Leo, Fred, John and Mike, and Sisters, Teresa, Norma and Mary
Marge leaves behind her son’s, Jim (James) and Mike (Michael) Feaster, Sisters, Barbara (Art) Savoy and Fran (Roger) Holst, Grandson Ryan (Katie) Feaster, Granddaughter Megan (Dustin) Harrington, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
