She was born at home in Chilicothe, Texas to her parents, John Henry Taylor and Mary Susan Jay Taylor, she was the youngest of eleven children. She was a believer in Jesus Christ. She is the last of the Taylor family. She moved to Dallas, Texas after being the youngest student to graduate that year from Chilicothe High School. She had a son Dan S. Sumners, daughters, Tammy D. Sumners Brown and Mary Kathleen Sumners Spracklen. She was a homemaker for numerous years and retired as a Medical Transcriptionist from All Saints Hospital. She was also married and was widowed by Ralph Turner. She is survived by her children; and step son Try Adrian Turner III; grandchildren, Allison Sumners, Lewis Sumners, Kevin Spracklen, and Brenna Spracklen; great grandchildren, Dallas Jones, Lottie Coker, and Graceyn Anger, and numerous nieces and nephews which all loved her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth, Texas, at 9:30 a.m. until Graveside service at 11:00 a.m.
