MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Brown Wynne Funeral Home in Raleigh NC at 1 p.m. Interment will be held at Historic Oakwood Cemetery and Mausoleum. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Friday at

the funeral home .

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Shore Animal League or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals.

Louise Walker was born in Greensboro, NC on March 7, 1929 to John Robert Walker and Elizabeth Haley Walker. She grew up in Greensboro where she graduated from Greensboro Senior High School in 1946. She married JC Stubblefield in 1952 and moved to Raleigh and went on to work at Merrill Lynch, Nationwide Insurance, Norfolk Southern Railroad and Wake Medical

Center. She retired in 1993. In 1999 she moved with JC to Phillipsburg, New Jersey where she & JC lived for 10 years near their daughter Faye. Then in 2009 Louise & JC moved to Fort Worth, TX to live near their younger daughter Angela and her family. They celebrated 60 years of marriage in January 2012.

Louise loved all animals, especially dogs and wolves. And she loved bowling and a good game of cards.

SURVIVORS: Husband, John C Stubblefield; daughters Faye Littlewood and husband Barry, Angela Smith and husband Douglas; grandson, Jacob Smith; nephews Robert Walker and George Walker.
