She was born in Pensacola, Florida on August 27, 1930. Lorraine graduated from Florida A & M College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Lorraine had a career in teaching for over 50 years. During her tenure she taught in Florida, Michigan, and Texas. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and Charms Incorporated.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Willie Mae Jones, brother, Clifton Celestine, and sister, Marjorie Browning.
She is survived by her son, Carl Morgan (Shelia) of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Jeffrey Morgan (Monica) of Garland, Texas and Tabitha Kim (Matthew) of San Antonio, Texas; great grandchildren, Ava and Benjamin Morgan; sister, Claudia Stafford of Fort Worth, Texas; and nieces, Francina Browning of Dunnellon, Florida and Debbie Saki of Vancouver, Washington.
