Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Polytechnic United Methodist Church. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Lloyd was born Nov. 4, 1926, in Fort Worth to Lloyd and Marion Slawson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Perkins Slawson; his parents; two sisters, Elizabeth Ezell and Martha Rogers; and his brother, Robert Slawson.
Survivors: Wife, Sylvia Slawson; daughters, Lynne Elliott and husband, Jim, of Arlington and Gayle Reid and husband, Gary, of Burleson; grandchildren, James Elliott and wife, Sheena, of Centreville, Md., Jason Elliott and wife, Ashely, of Arlington, Monica Ingersoll and husband, Kelly, of Burleson and Derek McKenzie of Fort Worth; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Stephenson.
