Lisa Yvette Wright, age 61, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Saturday December 14, 2019.On February 4, 1958, a little girl was born to Sidney and Emma Bell Murphy in Fort Worth, Texas. Lisa accepted Christ at a young age at North Ebenezer Baptist Church. She went on to join New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and sang in the Youth Chorus. She attended school at Morningside Elementary and she graduated from Paschal High School in 1970. In 1978, she met Reverend Clarence Wright at Fort Hood, Texas and in July 3, 1980, they were married. They had one child together a daughter, Clarce Wright; and she had a son, Cletis Black, from a previous marriage. She had one grandchild.
Lisa worked at the Department of Housing and Urban Development for twenty plus years. She retired due to her illness.
Those left to cherish her loving memory; her husband of 39 years, Reverend Clarence Wright, her children, Clarice Wright from Los Angeles, California, a son, Cletis Black from Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Venita Simmons and Obevid Murphy both of Fort Worth, Texas; one grandson, and a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
A Celebration for Lisa was held on Saturday, December 28, 2019.
