Born on April 19, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of James and Eleanor Rapport.
Linda graduated from Southwest High School, Fort Worth, in 1975 and later became the mother of three children during her marriage to Kim Leary.
Linda fought cancer for many years. Her courage and strength allowed her to spend the last years of her life loving her four granddaughters.
Linda retired shortly after becoming a grandmother. Retirement did not equal a dull life. When she was not completing a home improvement project, she was beautifully sewing anything she could think of, creating many keepsakes for her family. Linda also loved life in the Villas on the Bluff community and enjoyed the beautiful scenic views, meeting her neighbors during her many walks, and participating in community activities. Linda touched many lives and will be missed by many family members, friends, classmates, and neighbors.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor. Linda is survived by her sons, Michael, and his wife Carrie, Steven, and his wife Ellen, daughter, Melanie, granddaughters, Annalee, Carolynn, Eliza Hope, and Bethany. She is also survived by her father, James Rapport, brother, Eric, and his wife Diane, and many other family members.
