Linda Lou Kennedy

Linda Lou Kennedy went home to Jesus on her birthday, February 3, 2021 at the age of 83. Linda was born to Edmund Bishop and Hazel Padgett in Indianapolis, Indiana. She married Keith Kennedy, her husband of 51 years, on January 1, 1955.

Linda was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Linda had a generous heart and donated to many charities. She loved to play board games and enjoyed activities with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was everything to her. She loved the Lord and was an active member of her church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Keith, grandson, Jared Davis, her mother, Hazel Walters, father, Edmund Bishop and two brothers.

Survived by her daughters, Debra (Rick) Parish, Karen (Doug) Gleckler, and Anita (Dwight) Herren. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and her twin sister, Larinda Beers.

Linda struggled the last 4 years of her life with many health complications She proved that she was a fighter by not giving up. She was blessed to have a wonderful group of caregivers, therapist, nurses and family members to keep her moving forward. It was a long battle and now Linda is celebrating complete health in Heaven.
