Linda Kay Pearson Hutchings was born 10-18-44 in Ft Worth, TX. She was a graduate of Burleson High School in 1961 and graduated from TCU in 1964. She taught for Ft Worth ISD, Ft Worth Catholic Diocese and Crowley ISD for over 22 years. She married Billy Ray Hutchings in May 1963. She had 2 daughters Elizabeth and Mary and 5 grandchildren (McKayla, Meredith, Matalin, Carson and Pearson). She is survived by her older sister, Janis Tarsha. Linda was a lifelong Christian and was district and conference UMW officer, CWU officer and a volunteer of Crowley House of Hope since 1999. Although she is with our Lord & Savior, she will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Crowley - building fund or Crowley House of Hope in her memory.
Her celebration of life will be on Tuesday, Oct 8 at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Crowley.
