Lee was born in Taipei, Taiwan on January 19, 1951. He was one of six children to loving parents Wen Yang Tsao and Helen Chu. He graduated from college in 1973 and met his wife Connie while working. They married on 12/31/1983. Lee immigrated to the US in 1984 and started working tirelessly the very next day to bring Connie and baby Kyle (born in 1985) to the US. They welcomed daughter Wendy in 1988. He taught his children the importance of family and tradition. He spent his career in the restaurant business and retired as a restaurant owner in 2014.
In Lee’s spare time, he loved to eat spicy food, watch the Dallas Cowboys, listen to music, and challenge himself to Sudoku puzzles and Candy Crush. He enjoyed spending time and playing Mahjong with his siblings.
He is preceded in death by his father Wen Yang Tsao and mother Helen Chu. He is survived by his wife Connie, his children Kyle (Lauren) and Wendy (Blake). He is also survived by his siblings – An Tsao (Judy), Chin Tsao (Sophie), Nancy Hsu (David), Theresa Chi (Eric), and Terry Tsao (Diana). He is survived by many nephews and nieces that he loved as well.
A visitation for Lee will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home - Ft Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
