Kenneth C. Dozier, 90 of Fort Worth, TX passed away November 4, 2021.
Kenneth Dozier was born on March 13, 1931 to the late Charles Jefferson Dozier and Shirley Trawick in Arcadia, Florida. He grew up in Ellaville, Georgia until he joined the United States Air Force where he served for 26 years. Early in his career he was stationed at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, TX and during those years he met the love of his life. When he retired and they moved back to Fort Worth where he had a second career as a mechanic for Western Company. Ken would tell you that God changed his “wanna” during a revival in the mid-Seventies and he went on to serve his church in many different capacities. At the time of his death, he was a member of The Welcome Table Christian Church.
He is survived by: wife of 70 years, Arlena Dozier; son, Jeffery Dozier and wife Bea; son, Glenn Dozier; son Melvin Dozier, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by: Father, Mother and Sister, Betty Eason.
